Level B1 corresponds to the ""threshold"" level. The goal of this level is to be able to produce simple, coherent speech on familiar topics and areas of interest and to understand the main points of a discussion when clear, standard language is used. Our online English courses are structured to improve vocabulary with topics such as literature, entertainment, science, arts and information. Grammar topics included are: sentence scaling, speed reading, adverbial sentences, modifiers, etc.
